The Whisky Club of Big Canoe will organize private whisky events and meetings throughout the year. We look forward to introducing the 'Water of Life' to enthusiasts like yourself.
We will introduce different whiskies from around the world at meetings and have members evaluate and discuss their experiences. If you would like to share your favorite whisky, feel free to share your story
at one of the meetings.
Have you ever thought about starting your whisky collection and want to learn about the storage of whisky? Attend our tastings to learn about this as well. We will also introduce the history of whisky during the tasting events.
The Whisky Club of Big Canoe is set to host a unique and engaging event on June 18, 2025, centered around the theme “Sharing Your Whisky Story.” This month's gathering invites members to step beyond the tasting experience, and share their personal moments, memories, and adventures that make whisky more than just a drink. From first sips to rare finds, distillery visits to cherished gifts, each story adds depth and character to our whisky journey.
The event aims to highlight the personal side of whisky appreciation by allowing members to bring a bottle that holds a special place in their hearts. Participants will be encouraged to share why that particular whisky matters—whether it reminds them of a place, a person, or a period in their life. The evening will be a warm blend of storytelling, laughter, learning, and, of course, tasting. This format brings a sense of community and curiosity to the club, fostering new conversations among friends and fellow enthusiasts.
This month’s meeting isn’t just for seasoned collectors or connoisseurs. It is for anyone with a story to tell and a whisky they love. Even those newer to the world of whisky will find inspiration in the experiences of others. Every bottle has a backstory, and every sip holds a memory. This is a chance to deepen our appreciation, not just for the spirit itself, but for the people behind it.
The Whisky Club of Big Canoe continues to be a welcoming space for exploration, education, and camaraderie. Whether your story involves a smoky dram by a campfire or a shared toast at a celebration, we want to hear it. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect and reflect on the moments that make whisky meaningful. Come curious, come thirsty, and most importantly, come ready to share your whisky story.
The meetings will take place at the Chimneys / Village Station from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday evenings.
